East Shelby County Farmers Market is Rousing Success
	Market hours are Noon until 6 pm, Thursdays Carl Wayne Hardeman For the past five years Carl Wayne Hardeman, a Master Gardener, has dreamed of starting a Farmer's Market in Collierville. Today, Carl Wayne's dream became a reality. The market is held just off Town Square behind McGinnis Oil.
Many patrons began arriving early and by 2 pm some vendors had sold out. The farmers promised to bring twice as much next week and there may be additional vendors joining the Market. Carl was hard pressed to estimate attendance, but almost 300 people signed the email list for market updates.
There was a colorful assortment of homegrown items.	The watermelons were the first to sell out.
